Due to the different nature of the world, some things are modified from traditional D&D rules.

Classes

Clerics

The gods of Scrollworld must exist, because divine magic works, but they do not make themselves known as obviously as in other D&D settings.

TODO: figure out more about this, but I think Clerical power will indirectly come from the power of worshippers; if your particular religion wanes and people spend less time in prayer, your power will wane as well.

Warlocks

Scrollworld is not connected to any other planes as far as anyone knows, so the traditional Warlock patrons are not available here.

Warlock pacts are instead granted by the elven Glade Guardians, in exchange for serving them. Any available Patron from published D&D material can be used for mechanical purposes, but they will be flavored as coming from a Glade. As there is a large variety of Glades, we can accomodate any existing Patron’s particular powers.

Spells

Some spells will be unavailable in Scrollworld.
